Chief Master Sergeant Owen B. Davies

Chief Master Sergeant Owen B. Davies is the Senior Enlisted Manager for the Services career field. He is assigned to the Headquarters Air Force, Directorate of Services, Pentagon, Washington, DC.  The Chief represents the highest enlisted level of leadership in the Services Career Field, and as such, provides direction for the enlisted corps and represents their interests, as appropriate, to the American public, and to those in all levels of government. He serves as the personal adviser to the Director of Air Force Services on all issues regarding the welfare, readiness, morale, and proper utilization and progress of the enlisted force. In this position, he chairs and oversees the Services career field’s Enlisted Council and provides input to leadership on all facets of Services functional, manpower, personnel, and readiness issues.

Davies grew up in Africa, England and Pennsylvania.  He entered the Air Force in 1978 and has had a variety of Services assignments including Wing, MAJCOM, FOA and HAF.  He has served overseas in Korea and Germany and deployed in support of Operation SOUTHERN WATCH and Operation SECURE TOMORROW.  Before assuming his current position, he was the Chief of Food Service and Enlisted Matters for Air Force Space Command.
